The Invisible String

Patrice Karst (2000), DeVorss & Company

Liza and Jeremy were awoken by a thunderstorm and ran to their mom in fear. They wanted to be close to her so their mom explained that they are always connected by an invisible string. Even if they can’t see it, the string can be felt with their hearts. People who love each other are always connected, no matter who they are or how far away they are. Mom explained that it doesn’t matter if they are mad or scared, the string will never leave. The twins went back to bed, thinking about how everyone in the whole world is connected.
