While initially created for Family Support Professionals and Home Visitors, the Lemonade for Life program has developed into an effective tool for a wide range of professionals, including health practitioners, educators, faith-based leaders, career navigators, and others. Lemonade for Life is a robust training program that can be delivered onsite in your organization or community. Or, if you want to come to the Sunflower State, we host trainings at the Center for Public Partnerships and Research in Lawrence, Kansas.
Is it right for you?
The Lemonade for Life program is ideal for a variety of professionals and programs that serve communities:
Early Learning Professionals
Lemonade for Life can be a useful tool for home visiting programs, educators and counselors to help engage families, foster resilience and hope, strengthen relationships, and enhance the work toward a healthy life course.
Faith-Based Organizations
Many faith-based groups are addressing ACEs as they grow to meet the needs of their congregration and work to inform policy in their communities. Lemonade for Life can be a useful guide for faith-based groups as they explore ways to make change and promote wellness.
The Medical Community
Lemonade for Life can help doctors, practitioners, therapists, and other health workers understand and respond to patients’ needs. Understanding a patient’s history of ACEs can provide an overall picture of health and well-being, and may be especially helpful at office visits to facilitate parent communication.
Community-Based Organizations
Lemonade for Life can help community organizations address generational transfer that may lead to prolonged social problems. Community groups can learn how to respond appropriately to ACEs as they develop policy and trauma-informed practices.
