Dexter the baby dragon suddenly finds out he can make clouds of smoke. He feels proud and starts showing off to the other animals. Giraffe, zebra, and elephant get jealous, but Dexter is too excited about his smoke rings to notice. He continues to brag and puffs hot smoke in the faces of his friends and creates smoke rings around his own tail to prove how clever he is. Soon he has no friends and is very lonely. Sad, he wanders into a cornfield and by accident, discovers a way his talent can be used to win back his playmates.
